A a\u00e7\u00e3o foi fundamentada no artigo 22 da Lei Complementar n\u00ba 64\/90 e buscava a impugna\u00e7\u00e3o do mandato dos eleitos.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">A coliga\u00e7\u00e3o alegava a ocorr\u00eancia de irregularidades no pleito eleitoral, no entanto, ap\u00f3s an\u00e1lise detalhada das provas apresentadas, a Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral entendeu que n\u00e3o havia elementos suficientes para comprovar qualquer ilicitude que justificasse a cassa\u00e7\u00e3o dos mandatos de Carvalho e Guimar\u00e3es.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">Com a decis\u00e3o, o prefeito e seu vice permanecem no comando do munic\u00edpio, dando continuidade \u00e0 gest\u00e3o. Em pronunciamento, Paulo Carvalho celebrou o resultado e reafirmou seu compromisso com o desenvolvimento de Canavieiras. &#8220;Sempre tivemos confian\u00e7a na Justi\u00e7a e seguimos firmes trabalhando pelo bem da nossa cidade&#8221;, declarou o prefeito.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">A decis\u00e3o representa uma vit\u00f3ria pol\u00edtica para a atual administra\u00e7\u00e3o e refor\u00e7a a legitimidade do processo eleitoral que os elegeu.
