No \u00faltimo final de semana, as praias do litoral norte de Ilh\u00e9us foram cen\u00e1rio da 2\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Ilh\u00e9us Surf City, etapa Black Trunks. O campeonato reuniu cerca de 100 atletas ilheenses e de outras cidades baianas, como Salvador, Itacar\u00e9, Canavieiras, Valen\u00e7a, Itabuna e Serra Grande. Com o apoio da Prefeitura, o evento aconteceu no Bangal\u00f4 North Shore, Rodovia Ilh\u00e9us- Itacar\u00e9. O secret\u00e1rio de Juventude e Esporte, S\u00e9rgio Luiz, tamb\u00e9m compareceu \u00e0 competi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/h3>\n

O Ilh\u00e9us Surf City foi dividido em sete categorias, sendo PRO AM, que contemplou os quatro finalistas com R$ 2.500 e medalhas, e a categoria MASTER, que contemplou o 1\u00b0 colocado com uma prancha e os demais com medalhas e brindes. As categorias Local, Sub 14, 16 e 18, Feminino e Bodyboard conquistaram blocos, trof\u00e9us, medalhas e brindes.<\/h3>\n

O evento tem como objetivo fomentar a pr\u00e1tica do surf em Ilh\u00e9us, bem como divulgar as belezas naturais da regi\u00e3o, fomentar a economia local e promover o turismo no munic\u00edpio.<\/h3>\n

\u201cAgrade\u00e7o a todos os apoiadores. Sabemos a import\u00e2ncia que o surf tem para nossa cultura e ficamos felizes em realizar mais uma edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste grande evento. Foram dois dias de ondas para praticar o surf e explorar esse esporte. E vamos juntos para a 3\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, ressaltou o presidente e idealizador do evento, Rog\u00e9rio Santos, conhecido como \u2018Lamb\u00e3o\u2019.<\/h3>\n
